For the recent launch of the new indie games marketing agency, Lumière, I designed and developed their first-ever brand website. I used Framer to create a visually captivating and professional landing page that established their unique brand identity and provided a platform to attract new clients.

"Working with Connor Thorpe was a great experience. He took my vision for Lumière and turned it into a clean, responsive, and beautifully branded site. Super easy to work with, thoughtful with design choices, and always kept usability in mind. Highly recommend if you need a site that feels polished and professional!"
-Alexander Hainsworth, Lumière Indie Games Marketing
Brief
Lumière is a new indie games marketing agency on a mission to help small studios get their games seen. Founded by established marketing consultant Alexander Hainsworth, the agency needed a professional digital presence to launch its brand.
While the founder had a personal portfolio, the Lumière brand itself had no online home. As the sole designer for this project, my goal was to build a landing page that would:
Establish a distinct, premium brand identity for the new business.
Clearly communicate its services and value proposition to potential clients.
Generate leads through a clear contact section and compelling calls-to-action (CTAs).
Visually capture the brand's theme in a memorable way.
Strategy & Design
Crafting the Visual Identity
The core of this project was to build a distinct visual identity for the Lumière brand. We started with a strategic decision to use a dark-mode UI, which resonates strongly with the target audience of game developers. This foundation allowed the brand's vibrant purple and orange palette to stand out. I then extended the "galactic" theme from the logo into a custom, animated starry background in Framer, adding subtle micro-interactions like hover-activated particle shines to create a premium and memorable user experience.
Building for User Experience
With the visual identity established, the focus shifted to creating a seamless user journey. I structured the client's content—services, projects, and testimonials—into clean, scannable sections. To ensure easy navigation and highlight key information, I implemented a sticky navigation bar with smooth-scrolling and a dynamic, auto-scrolling testimonial slider.
Final Result
The result is a polished, professional, and fully responsive single-page website that serves as the digital home for the Lumière brand. It successfully balances a strong visual theme with clear, accessible information for potential clients.
The final site includes several key features:
An Immersive Hero Section
The animated background, striking logo, and clear mission statement immediately establish the brand's identity.
Clear Service & Project Showcases
The client's services are laid out in a clean grid, while past projects are displayed in a visually rich gallery, building credibility.
Dynamic Elements
Scrolling marquee text and an automated testimonial slider add a sense of life and dynamism to the page, keeping users engaged.
The new site represents a strategic evolution from the founder's personal portfolio to a professional, client-facing business entity. You can see the before and after images below to really understand how much this redesign improves their overall branding and marketability.

Reflection
I really enjoyed this project because it was a chance to help a new brand find its footing online. It was also my first major client website built entirely in Framer, which was an exciting challenge. I was genuinely impressed with how quickly I could go from a design concept to a live, animated site that the client could interact with.
My biggest takeaway was seeing the real-world impact of creating a dedicated brand home. Moving from a personal portfolio to a professional business site is a huge step for any founder, and being a part of that launch was incredibly rewarding. It reinforced for me that good design isn't just about looks; it's about giving a business the confidence to grow.
